Rocket Theatre will be presenting the U.K. premiere of "THE EIGHT: Reindeer Monologues" by Jeff Goode during the holiday period of December 2001.

Rocket now run Adult Drama Classes. The new term will begin from the twenty fifth of April and take place every Wednesday evening for twelve weeks at Oakwood High School (Lower School), Darley Avenue, Chorlton, Manchester. Sessions will run from 6:00 to 8:00pm and 8:15 to 10:15pm.

Rocket Youth Theatre's new term is also due to begin from the twenty fourth of April and will take place every Tuesday evening for twelve weeks at Sale Grammar School on Marsland Road in Sale, Greater Manchester. Sessions will run from 7:30 to 9:30.

A happy New Year to you all from Rocket Theatre.

In the Manchester Evening News Awards announced on the 13th of December, Jim Burke won the award for "best new play" with Cornered.

We have finally got round to trawling the remainder of our archives for reviews and photographs. You can now see the entire five year history of Rocket Theatre on the complete Past Productions pages.

In the light of our continuing success, we will be discussing expansion plans with Northwest Arts and our other sponsors. The Latest page will carry any news until our next production. You can see news from the last year there and pictures and reviews from all our shows on the Past Productions page. Rocket Drama Classes.

Every Wednesday evening during term-time, drama classes are available for adults, at Oakwood High School (Lower School), Darley Avenue, Chorlton, Manchester. Private lessons are also available. See What's on for details.

If you have more than a passing interest in the development process of new scripts, then you may be interested in our new series of Rehearsed Readings. In association with North West Playwrights and with support from the Library Theatre, we will be presenting an evening of two one-act plays. These plays are rehearsed for one day only and are performed script in hand to an invited audience. Tickets are free but extremely limited so keep logging on to our website for further details as soon as they are released!
