MY FRIEND WILLIAM
written and performed by David Platt MY FRIEND WILLIAM is the story of an ordinary family man whose perfect life descends into obsession and more. This is a punchy play with adult themes and is not recommended for children. This is a one-man show that came about as a result of the 'One Person Play' workshops which Rocket Theatre ran last year (and will be running again at some point). This is the first play as a result of those workshops which has made it to full production and it is a credit to David that he has managed to create not only a wonderful script but also a performance which lives up to it and provides a surprisingly exhilerating piece of theatre.
My Friend William is available for performance at almost any venue. Uniquely, the play can be performed in any theatre space regardless of what is there, as My Friend William is set in a theatre and can be performed on ANY set regardless of if there is an empty stage or another set on the stage (which he will use in his performance). The performance lasts about an hour.
