Rocket Theatre is a limited company and a registered charity.

Artistic Director

  • Martin Harris

Martin established Rocket Theatre in 1995 and has been its artistic director ever since. He has produced all of the company’s work and has directed most of its productions to date. He has only appeared as an actor in two Rocket productions – as Birdboot in The Real Inspector Hound by Tom Stoppard and as Lord Arthur in Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime, which he also adapted from Oscar Wilde’s short story. Martin is originally from Kent, where he appeared in school and youth theatre productions before training as an actor at Birmingham School of Acting (1988 – 91). He has worked as an actor on and off since then but spends most of his time directing and teaching both for Rocket Theatre and for other companies and educational establishments.
